The Anonymous posts roll in
People who can’t let their name
Be attached to their pain about our
“Free country”
Women whose husbands would beat them
If they knew they stood behind that curtain
And voted for their own self preservation
And lost
Women crying
Urging their friends to buy
The Morning After Pill
In case you’re raped
“Again”
And the pill is illegal then
Anonymous people
Wondering if their marriage
Will still be legal in a few months
Wondering if their medical records
From years ago will
Land them in a cell
Some of us speak
A name and a face
With the voice
And some sit on the edge of the tub
And cry
Before reapplying our make-up
And going back out there
Only able to fight
From the shadows
